Jane F. Vossen

Jane F. Vossen, age 84 of Cold Spring, formerly Watkins, MN, died on Sunday July 31, 2022 at the Assumption Community in Cold Spring.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the Church of St. Anthony in Watkins, MN.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the Church of St. Anthony with a 7:00 PM prayer service.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Thursday.  Interment will be held in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Watkins, MN.

Jane Frances Vossen, the daughter of Leonard and Cecilia (Willenbring) Doubek was born in Richmond, MN on September 20, 1937.  She received her education in Cold Spring, MN and was united in marriage to Harold Vossen on October 19, 1955.  While raising her children, Jane helped run the family business, Watkins Dairy Supply, with Harold and also was a waitress at the Family Inn.  Jane was a member of the Church of St. Anthony in Watkins and Saint Boniface in Cold Spring.  Jane enjoyed feeding and watching birds and always had a garden outside and tended to her many indoor plants.  She also enjoyed playing cards, square dancing, fishing with her sisters, sewing, quilting, crocheting, baking and spending time with her friends and family.

Jane is survived by her husband Harold Vossen; children Roger (Linda) Vossen, Linda (Brian) Miller, Gerald (Judy) Vossen, Scott (Loni) Vossen, Chuck (Beth) Vossen, Daniel (Nancy) Vossen, Sharon (John) McCann, Greg Vossen and Dennis (Sabrina) Vossen; 20 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers Ralph, Lenny and Victor; and sisters Arlene, Rita and Alice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Cecilia; son Brian John Paul Vossen; and sisters Dorothy and Ethel
